A Wholehearted Holiday: Gifts for the Minimalist

November 18, 2018

Today, I’m continuing my holiday gift guide series with Gifts for the Minimalist! Who is, undoubtedly, the most difficult person to even consider buying a gift for. For them, I’ve rounded up things that I think are beautiful, useful and/or consumable, or long-lasting.

As a reminder, some of the links in these posts are affiliate links, and if you shop through them, I may earn a small commission on your purchase (thank you so much if you do).

1. Roost Candle Co. Pomegranate Cider Candle

This twist on a traditional cider scent blends apple, sugar, clove and pomegranate for a warm and welcoming aroma. Handcrafted in Sandy Hook, Connecticut.

2. The Little Market Rose Bath Bomb

Made with dried rose petals, coconut oil and Himalayan salt, this bath bomb will remind the minimalist in your life how much they love to stop and smell the roses.

3. OneHope Pinot Noir

This festive wine features notes of black and red berries and a touch of cinnamon. Best of all, the sale of each bottle helps to fund the adoption of a homeless pet.

4. Soulful Simplicity by Courtney Carver

This is one of my absolute favorite books about minimalism and simple living. When Carver was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, stress exacerbated her symptoms and it became apparent that she needed to simplify her life. In this book, Carver shows readers how to pursue practical minimalism so we can “be more with less.”

5. Vrai & Oro Huggie Hoops

These delicate gold hoops are certain to be a minimalist’s jewelry staple for years to come. Made in Los Angeles of 14k solid gold.

6. The Laundress Delicate Wash Laundry Detergent

Help the minimalist in your life better care for and extend the life of their clothes with this delicate laundry detergent by The Laundress – safe for use on silk, synthetics, spandex, polyester, nylon, rayon, acetate, and blends.

7. Donation to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)

Instead of a gift, why not honor them with a meaningful donation in their name? My pick – the American Civil Liberties Union. For almost 100 years, the ACLU has worked to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States.

8. Sugarfina Candy Bento Box

Who doesn’t love a sweet treat for the holidays? Sugarfina makes elevated candies, including their famous champagne gummy bears. This sparkling gift box offers a selection of eight of their most-loved candies. Additionally, if the recipient is vegan, gluten free, or has allergies, you can order directly from Sugarfina’s website, where you can sort candy by dietary need.
