I wish I had the diligence to publish a Slow Sunday post every week. But, many times, in the interest of (of course) slowing down, I skip this one to create a little more space in my week.
This week, though, I felt like writing this because I have a few things to talk about that won’t work as standalone blog posts, but that I still want to talk about.

After a bit of a hectic week, I treated myself to some new clean beauty items – and they are quickly becoming my go-to makeup products! I’ve been trying to break the habit of getting gel manicures, which have proven bad for both my wallet and my nails. Instead, I picked up some Pacifica 7-Free nail polish, which is free of the seven most common chemicals found in nail polishes, including formaldehyde and camphor. I also bought another Kosås lipstick (guilty of hoarding these…), this time in Rosewater, which has become my new everyday shade. Lastly, after seeing this Kjaer Weis cream blush on the feed of every clean beauty blogger I follow, I finally purchased it. And I have to say – it lives up to the hype, and is my favorite blush I have ever owned. I also like how once you purchase the blush and compact, you simply buy blush refills for it.
As a lot of you know, I took up knitting last year, and I’m starting my first sweater project thanks to We Are Knitters! They recently gifted me their Chord Cardigan knitting kit, and I am slowly but surely working on it. It has been hard to find time for knitting recently since work and blogging has kept me pretty busy, but it’s something I love to do in the evenings when my schedule allows for it.
I’ve had quite a bit of luck on Poshmark lately! I recently found these Zara paper bag pants and these Cole Haan mules there, and I am excited for them to add some interest to my wardrobe in the warmer months. I always make sure to use very specific search terms on Poshmark, and only shop for items I need, in order to not get overwhelmed by just how much is available there.

I haven’t had much time for reading books lately, but here are a couple articles I’ve recently enjoyed, that I think you will too.

I just want to give a quick thank you to my friend Patricia, who has been helping me with a lot of my blog photos recently – like this behind-the-scenes photo of a recent shoot we did.
I’m also inspired by Maven Women‘s new Chelsey dress. I covered the development of it here, and it is finally available! I know so, so much time and thought went into its production, and I’m proud to be able to wear it. For 10% off your Maven purchase, use code WHOLEHEARTEDWARDROBE.
Second to last, I’m on Cladwell now. You can find me @wholeheartedwardrobe. Cladwell has provided me a lot of wardrobe inspiration using the clothing I already own.
Lastly, I want to leave you with a quote that a good friend of mine gave me after a rough week. It has helped me a lot, and I hope it helps you too:
“Your talent belongs to you, your reputation belongs to others.”
All for now,
xx
