A Simple Wrap Dress

To kick off my summer capsule wardrobe, I’m wearing the Tonlé Lotus Dress. I purchased it recently, because a similar jersey wrap dress I owned (…that link is a blast from the past!) had seen better days, and no longer looked as polished for the office as it once did. I wore it so much over the last five years! I looked far and wide to find one that was as similar as possible, down to the jersey knit and tulip-style skirt.

This dress is so easy to wear and comfortable for the office, but also works well for weekend with a flat sandal or sneaker. And, I love that it is zero-waste, made from reclaimed jersey.

I ordered the extra-small, and it fits well throughout the body. You may want to add a snap at the chest if you want more coverage there, but I didn’t feel the need to.

I didn’t include many workwear items in this summer capsule wardrobe, because I’m not expecting to go into the office much over the next month or so. But I’ll see how it goes and if I need to add another outfit.

My shoes are from Flattered, and I just carried my laptop bag.
